The Genealogical Circle

Created in 1979, the Genealogical Circle is a non-profit French based Association run by volunteers so as to promote genealogical research and mutual aid. The Genealogical Circle is open to all genealogists and is supported by a network of 30 ministerial or regional delegations altogether as well as by European advisors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The promotion is carried out through:

• a monthly Bulletin "Nos Sources" sent to each member and exchanged with 140 other genealogical associations in France.
  
• Recurrent meetings organized by the different delegations.
  
• Conferences, training programs and exhibits (held in the headquarters' libraries or in the Delegations').
  
• Our Website (and its patronymic base).
  
• Partnerships with genealogical associations or other working staff associations.
